Finland marked its 107th Independence Day by reopening its Embassy in Pakistan after a decade, signaling renewed bilateral engagement. Ambassador Hannu Ripatti announced the move at a ceremony alongside EU Ambassador Riina Kionka in Islamabad. He emphasized strengthening ties in trade, investment, and human rights. Ripatti reaffirmed Finland’s commitment to collaboration and democratic growth. The event, attended by EU members and diplomats, underscored Finland’s dedication to fostering strong international relations with Pakistan and the broader global community.

The Embassy of Azerbaijan in Pakistan hosted a commemorative reception marking the anniversary of Victory Day, celebrated annually on November 8.
